TOT-Academics: Reading Instruction: Elementary
Training Details
Trainers will be equipped to teach educators about the key features of an MTSS framework in reading, including the critical role of assessments and data-based decision-making. This Training of Trainers (TOT) will prepare participants to guide others in effectively understanding and applying these concepts. This TOT is for ESC staff only.
Registration close date: Monday, April 14, 2025 if not earlier if TOT reaches capacity.
Audience
This training is designed for ESC staff responsible for training and implementing MTSS, specifically in the area of reading.
Prerequisites
In order to register, participants must already hold a TIER Essentials+ certification. Designated ESC staff members without this TIER certification must complete the following
Canvas courses on TEA Learn as a prerequisite. Please enroll in each course and complete by Monday, April 14, 2025. Participants who do not complete Canvas courses will be withdrawn from the training.
